Managers
The first benefit of SwiftCase that business owners and managers will appreciate, before even starting to use the system, is how it can be configured to your organisation’s workflow. Business processes are broken down into stages called “statuses”. Each status will define a task to be carried out or checked over by a member of staff, or client.
Before SwiftCase is configured for a firm, we have a series of meetings, phone calls and email exchanges with management that establish their requirements and the best way of achieving the business process goals required. Once this has been agreed upon, a new instance of the software is deployed and hosted on a cloud server, and made accessible to users, depending on their requirements and level of responsibility.
In a typical use case, a manager may decide what new tasks will be taken on by their organisation in the near future. They can either assign staff to these jobs manually, by choosing from a list of people in the system who match a specific criteria, or the system can be configured to automatically assign staff members using a combination of the required availability, coverage areas and skills/attributes.
New employees can be added to the system, and the relevant profile information can either be entered by management, administrators, or the staff themselves. Every user has a profile that can be quickly and easily edited, defining how they interact with the system, via the permissions functionality, and also what work they may be carrying out by hiding/showing particular process types/statuses and allocating the appropriate skill set.
One of the main benefits of SwiftCase is that it can be configured to give a thorough and easy-to access overview of an organisation’s results. Using a tailored management information section, management can see how individual users are performing, as well as how the company is doing as whole.
