As of late, the public are putting billionaires like Jeff Bezos under pressure. Instigating interviews and possible new taxation policies for the hyper-rich, more and more people are asking questions: how much is too much? Should billionaires be morally obliged to use their immense wealth to better the world and do more to reduce horrors like abject poverty? Are they corrupted hoarders or are we just jealous?
It is interesting that this topic has only come to such focus now, but will just discussing it be enough to change anything? Time will tell, but we hope so.
