The first half of 2025 focused on making SwiftCase more pleasant to use, whether you're at a desk or on your phone, day or night.
Dark Mode Done Right
We've rebuilt the interface with proper dark mode support throughout. Every panel, every modal, every button now respects your system preference or manual toggle.
This isn't just about aesthetics. Dark mode reduces eye strain during long sessions, works better in low-light environments, and uses less battery on OLED screens. For teams processing cases late into the evening or working night shifts, it makes a real difference.
The sidebar, user pages, forms, and document views all transition smoothly. No more jarring white panels in an otherwise dark interface.
Mobile That Actually Works
SwiftCase has always worked on mobile, but "works" and "works well" are different things. This update closes the gap:
Centred notifications on mobile screens instead of awkward positioning.
Responsive images that scale properly on smaller displays.
Touch-friendly controls throughout the interface.
When your field team needs to update a case from a site visit, or a manager needs to approve something while travelling, the experience now feels native.
Manage File Tags Without Leaving Your Flow
File tags help organise documents across cases. Previously, managing them meant navigating to settings. Now you can add and remove tags directly from the compose email modal and other document interfaces.
Tagging a document as "Evidence" or "Correspondence" happens in the moment, while you're working with the file, not as a separate administrative task.
Email Composition Improvements
The compose email modal now auto-loads clients and client staff as recipients based on your configuration. Less clicking, less searching, faster communication.
Combined with the file tag improvements, sending a properly categorised email with the right attachments to the right recipients takes fewer steps than ever.
Sidebar Configuration
For administrators, we've added a sidebar builder that lets you configure what appears in navigation for different user types. Preview changes before publishing them. Create focused experiences for specific roles.
Mobile Notifications Fixed
Push notifications on mobile now display correctly centred, rather than offset. A small fix that eliminates a daily annoyance for mobile users.
