Product Update: A Completely Rebuilt Document Manager

Documents are the lifeblood of most workflows. Contracts, evidence, reports, correspondence. This update makes managing them dramatically easier.

Document Manager Reimagined

The document manager has been rebuilt from the ground up:

Advanced filtering lets you narrow down files by date, type, and search terms. When a case has hundreds of documents, finding the right one used to mean scrolling. Now it means filtering.

Faster retrieval through optimised database queries. The efficiency improvements are invisible but the speed difference is noticeable, especially on document-heavy cases.

Preserved filters across pagination. When you filter documents and page through results, your filters stay active. No more re-applying filters every time you click to the next page.

Flat view for seeing all documents regardless of folder structure. Sometimes you need hierarchy. Sometimes you need everything in one list.

Infinite Scroll Everywhere

Pagination buttons are being replaced with infinite scroll throughout the interface:

  • User notes scroll smoothly as you read
  • User logs load continuously
  • Document lists extend as you scroll

It's a subtle change that makes the interface feel more modern and reduces clicking.

QR Codes Built In

Generate QR codes directly within SwiftCase. Link to case portals, chatbot entry points, or any URL relevant to your workflow.

Print QR codes on letters to let recipients scan and access their case online. Include them in reports for quick reference. Generate them for field workers to scan when arriving at sites.

Collection Question Builder

For complex data capture scenarios, the new collection question builder provides a visual interface for configuring dynamic collections.

Instead of manually configuring JSON, you can build collection structures through the admin panel. Define fields, set validation rules, and preview how the collection will appear to users.

This is particularly valuable for forms that capture variable numbers of items: vehicle parts, household contents, event attendees, or any scenario where "add another" is a common action.

User Profile Enhancements

User pages have been streamlined:

Reusable header component ensures consistency across profile views.

Dark mode fixes address remaining visual issues in user management screens.

Dropdown filtering for notes helps find specific note types quickly.
