Automated Events - Create User

TheCreate Userautomated event automatically creates a user. The User will be made when specific requirements you have set are met.

Adding a Create User Automated Event

Click the Automated Events tab on the Status to which you want to create the user in.

Drag and drop theCreate Userautomated event into the blank space on the right.

Select a User Type e.g an internal user, client, internal admin, etc.

If you want the user to be allocated to the task, choose atask relationshipe.g case owner, client, etc. If you want to create the User, but do not want the user to be allocated to the task, leave this field blank.

In theUser First Namebox, select a question from the Forms & Actions tab.

In thePhone Numberbox, select a question from the Forms & Actions tab e.g this question would ideally bePhone Number. The answer to this question will be used to create a user and their profile.

In theAddressbox, select a question from the Forms & Actions tab.

In theClient Organisation Namebox, select a question from the Forms & Actions tab. The answers to these questions will be used to create the user and their profile.

Check theEmail Password Link?checkbox if you want the user to receive a password link via email when they are created as a user.

Check the **Business Hours Only?**checkbox if you want the User to be created during business hours only.

Determine the time the event will trigger using the Time boxes.

Check theFire Event based on question answered?box if you want a question(s) to trigger the creation of the User. Checking this box will then display fields for you to add any questions and specify any answers.

In the Time Type box choose rules about when the User will be created:

  • After Status Change/Questions Matched: Based on the amount of time in this status/after questions matched.

  • After Task Created: Based on the date the task was created.

  • After/Before Question: Based on date and date/time questions.

Choose a Date/Datetime Question, If you selectedAfter/Before Questionas theTime Type. Note: this question must have the question typedateordatetimeto appear as a Date/Datetime Questionoption in the dropdown.

If the User should only be created after coming from a specific status, enter this status in the Only Fire After Status box.

Check the Is One Time? checkbox if you do not want the User to be created more than once, even if it is placed back into this status again.

Check theShould this event trigger when created as a child task?checkbox if you want the User to be created when the workflow is created as a child task.
