Forward-deployed engineering
Forward-deployed engineers who implement Claude, OpenAI, and custom models into how your business actually runs, and stay until it does. The service was always part of the software.
What we believe
Most SaaS quietly dropped the service and kept the subscription. We never did. The way you get value out of software is the service wrapped around it.
We have always read the S in SaaS as software and service. A login on its own does not change how a business runs. People who understand your operation, sitting alongside your team, do.
Before a single workflow is built, we map how work actually moves through your business. The software bends to your operation, not the other way around.
Implementation is the start of the relationship, not the end of the sale. Our longest client relationships span over a decade because we keep showing up.
Before it had a name
“Forward-deployed engineer” is the title everyone is hiring for now. We have been doing the job for over fifteen years, sending engineers into UK service businesses to systemise the mess, wire up the integrations, and stay until the operation ran the way it should.
We did not call it that. We called it doing the work properly. The label is new. The discipline, for us, is not.
“The level of service we have received in getting the product set up for our use has been exceptional. It has been tailored completely to our needs with great attention to detail and excellent customer support.”
The role
Not a salesperson with a deck. Not a support agent with a script. An engineer who learns your operation and builds inside it.
Your engineer works alongside your people during implementation. They learn your edge cases, your regulators, and your busy season. They are a phone call away, not a support form.
Every workflow, integration, and automation is configured together. Your ops team understands the system because they helped design it, not because they read the manual.
Claude, OpenAI, and custom models, wired into your real processes with guardrails for regulated work. Not a chatbot you are left to configure, but AI that takes action inside your operation.
Decades of connecting ERPs, accounting packages, insurer panels, and supplier APIs. Most integration challenges, we have met before.
What we implement
We are not married to one model. Our engineers pick the right one for each task and wire it into your operation with the guardrails regulated work demands.
Anthropic models for nuanced, high-stakes reasoning, careful drafting, and customer conversations that need to stay on-script.
GPT models for fast classification, extraction, and general-purpose reasoning across documents, email, and voice.
Models we train for domain-specific intent classification, entity extraction, and quality scoring where general LLMs are too slow or too expensive at volume.
Embedding an engineer is how we deliver real change without a six-month, six-figure programme that has not yet shipped. We start where the pressure is, ship something useful in weeks, and keep it reversible. A board can defend a quick win with a 30-day readout. It cannot defend a stalled transformation.
No generic demo. We will walk through your operation, tell you honestly what an embedded engagement would look like, and where AI would actually earn its place. If it is not a fit, we will say so.
