CRM (Customer Relationship Management)

CRM is a system for managing an organisation's interactions with current and potential customers, tracking communications, opportunities, and relationship history.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems centralise customer data and interaction history in one place. They track who your customers are, what conversations you have had with them, what they have purchased or enquired about, and where they are in the customer lifecycle.

Traditional CRM platforms focus on sales pipelines — tracking leads, opportunities, and deals. But for service-oriented businesses, CRM needs extend well beyond sales. Insurance brokers need to track policy portfolios and claims history. Legal firms need to track matter history and billing relationships. Healthcare providers need to track patient relationships and referral sources.

This is where CRM intersects with case management and workflow automation. A CRM record provides the customer context; case management tracks the specific work being done for that customer; and workflow automation ensures that work is processed efficiently and consistently.

SwiftCase includes built-in CRM capabilities that integrate directly with its case management and workflow automation features. This means customer relationship data, operational case data, and automated processes all live in one platform rather than requiring separate systems that need to be synchronised.
